I swear, Mommy just a handful of green beans.

I am now 11 weeks pregnant and in the middle of the normal nausea and food cravings that I remember from my first two pregnancies. When I don't feel sick, I want to eat junk. For example, I just ate two oreos with whip cream on top of them. They were awesome.

When I was pregnant with Will, I didn't have to worry about what I ate. I just sat on the couch and ate whatever I felt like.
When I was pregnant with Abby, I had to hide my snacks from Will, but it wasn't hard. He was little and didn't see me sneaking the cookies.
Now it is a whole new ball game. Will sees me eating something and wants a bite. Abby comes running when she hears me open up the pantry door. She starts yelling "bite!" before she even sees what I have. If they don't see the actual junk food I just stuffed in my mouth, I usually lie to my sweet kids and tell them that I just ate a handful of green beans.

As a mom, I always make sure the kids eat healthy meals. We sit down at the table to eat and I make sure there are fruits and veggies. The logical, smart person inside of me tells me that I should not eat junk food that I have to hide from the kids. Problem solved. The pregnant person inside of me tells me to go get a big scoop of chocolate frosting out of the fridge.

What's a pregnant girl to do? There is only one smart decision here... Hide the junk food in a better location to throw off the kids. Problem solved.

Will is learning to use the camera

Every time Matt or I want to use the camera, Will wants to take a picture too. He is getting better but he often hits the video button instead of the picture button.

From his camera work, we have some interesting pictures of us 'trying' to smile for the camera. Really the whole time Will is taking video the whole time. Here is a day in the life at the Perryman house.

1. The first video is of Matt on a normal weekday night. Yes the TV is on and that is work on his lap.

2. This is a video of Will taking a picture of himself. I am cleaning out the fridge in the background.

3. This is me throwing out leftovers. Please notice that I did pause to smile for the picture I thought my child was taking.

One day I am going to be so glad Will has saved these rather boring events for us. Today, I'll just share them with you.

Don't save money by cutting your husband's hair

Matt innocently asked me to cut his hair the other evening so that he would like nice for a BIG meeting he was having the next day. When he said 'cut' I didn't know that he really meant 'shape' up the back only. Oops. The second I started cutting I insisted that he run to Great Clips and get a professional to fix his hair. He said there is no way that it could be that bad. It is his hair so he can do what he wants.

Matt told me he got two comments on his hair. The comments? Who cut your hair man? What happened to your hair man?

Matt's answer: My wife got carried away.
